Christmas gifts: What are you getting yourself?

So far, i've gotten me:

ROTK Extended
The Cult Of Mac
Sammy Hagar The Essential Red Collection
Nokia 6600
512MB RAM

And soon i'll be buying myself a new landline, because the handset on mine stopped working. I'll probably wait til after Xmas, though.

Well, I sorta got myself a 2000 Dodge Dakota Pickup truck this year, as my car died a gruesome death.

DeepDiscountDVD had their semi-annual 20% sale, so I treated myself to 8 DVDs, among which were City of God, The Cooler, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: The Criterion Special Edition, and Clerks X.

for christmas i got eye medicine to give to my cat. woohoo!

i also reduced my debt by paying $1,500 to debt collectors since thanksgiving. woohoo!

and in light of all the financial crap i am dealing with, i had to do something special for myself- an oil change for my car. woohoo!

I did buy the RotK Extended Edition, but I don't know if that counts.

My real Christmas present to myself was this cool 1950s vintage mixer, which I got for $5 while shopping for presents in an antique store:

I might set my apartment up with Airport because I'm tired of Cat-5 strung all over the place.

X-Box, Halo2 and Deus Ex: Invisible War.

I really like FPS games, but I can't ask anyone in my family to spend that much money, so I just make Xmas my excuse to get for myself what I really want.

I spent most of my Christmas money for myself in October and November replacing stuff that was stolen from my house, and replacing the alternator in my car.

In the new year I imagine I'll make it up to myself, once I get some cash flow going again.  wink

The Matrix box set, the LOTR box set and about a dozen CDs are all calling my name....

Remember that $1300 dollar mountain bike I bought myself over the summer?

Well, I spent almost 3/4th as much so far on snowboard equipment and gear. I am trying to keep active all 4 of the chicago seasons with some type of sport.

well i got my bike a service, and im also going to a mtb park for 4 days so thats a chrissy present in itself.

Got myself a PowerBook G4 12" a couple months ago.
Followed that with a Canon PowerShot SD200 digi.
Bought an NEC LCD1735NXM 17" flat panel monitor on Saturday, in advance of...

the PowerMac G5 Single I got yesterday. smile
