who sells rise of nations?
jeez, no wonder the mac gaming industry is in the toilet. I went to about 5 stores yesterday and no one sells mac software, unless its a pc hybrid. and a mac game? out of the question.
yes,not even the apple store has this game in stock. i mentioned to the employee that the title is new and he said that the Apple store was usually the LAST to get a game and it might be after the holiday season before they even order it.
the LAST? who the hell is the first?
do i have to buy this online?
thanks.

I order everything online; hardware, software. Our Wal-Mart (The only place that actually sells games and such) only has PC/XBox games, they do have a few hybrid blizzard games though.

Re: who sells rise of nations?
to keep their mac games up to date.
I ended up ordering from macsoft as well.
macmall actually was going to charge MORE than the msrp.
The online apple store says it would ship in 1-3 days and if i only purchase 50 cents more id get free shipping.
compusa does not have it and the clueless customer service guy has no clue when they will get it. On the other hand, he was ever so helpful and suggested I buy the PC version. yeah, um thanks.
thanks to all who respoded.

Well, you'll have to be patient because no one probably has it yet. I just ordered mine today, but will definitely provide feedback after I log some game time. Civ 3 is awesome and is one of the reasons I popped for RoN.

Re: who sells rise of nations?
My whole thing with RoN is how long does a game last?
I mean with Civ 3, those games could last for hours, hours, and hours. I hope RoN is serious.

You're right. Especially on huge maps

Thanks for the heads up on GoGamer, Apelock. I just made a GoGamer bookmark for Safari. I had not visited their site before. Great prices. I just paid a full 49.99 on RoN directly from MacSoft and it's $7.00 cheaper at GoGamer. What's been your experience with their shipping prices? Fair?

My pleasure. Usually shipping is $5.99 for up to three games, which is more than fair. They ship Fed-Ex, which seems faster than the USPS, usually 3-5 days. Watch for their madness sales as well; I got Civ 3 for 9.99, Warcraft 3 for 19.99 when it was still 39 buck elsewhere, etc.

Re: who sells rise of nations?
The Apple Store in Stoneridge Mall has 5 copies of Rise of Nations. I now am in possession of one. Unfortunately, back here at home I do not own a mac that I can run it on yet
