Re: CREATE A SERVER WITH A MAC....
...are... you... behind... a... router....
A little less exasperation and "!!!!111one!!!", please.
Spirit was crushed; now is fading, But I want to help make things right.
Because I can see and I can feel, and you can see and you can feel
So why don't we both either stand up and fight
Or at least together we'll call it a night.

Re: CREATE A SERVER WITH A MAC....
Yes yes, we know you use a modem, but is it connected to a router so you can use the internet over several computers?

First of all, these factors will affect the ability to run a gameserver:
1. router (as they say)
2. FIREWALL (biggie here)
3. DHCP (otherwise known as dynamic IP, although temp servers seem ok)
4. And a few other unforseen things that are just there to mess with your head, and your gameserver.
Your server.cfg file isn't your problem I think. Also, if you don't set the server in "Dedication" mode, it will NOT show up in the server listings. The only way for an outside computer to see your server is if they MANUALLY type in your IP address. This is where things get complicated. If you are running in dedication mode, then I suggest going over your firewall. Make sure the right port (TCP or UDP.. i don't know) is open. Don't ask me for the port number, cuz I simply don't know. Try Google(TM).
Thats it.

The port number is usually 29070, UDP.
