Configuring a two player game with bots in LAN
So, anyway, I am trying to play with a friend, but I have problems configuring the game, and the manual isn't really helping much.
Basically, I'd like to be able to configure the number of bots that will play with or against us. So far, I have only been able to do a player VS bots, with two players and two bots. This is OK for team battle, but not really too useful in games like Onslaught or Air Buccaneers. I would like to make some larger teams, but whats exactly the configuration I should do? It's preety confusing, really.

Re: Configuring a two player game with bots in LAN
You should be able to set a minimum number of players. Just set that number to the number of humans (2) plus the number of bots you want (10ish). So if you want 10 bots in your game, just set the minimum number of players to 12.

Yeah, but...you can't choose the bots, right?

hmm, like specifically Gorge and Xan?
Perhaps there is a "bot roster" you can set? Like in instant action....

Yes there is a bot roster one can make and then tell the game to use that roster.
I'm sorry Adruneq you are not trying or looking very hard. Everything is right there under the Game Rules tab.
Sigh... /me grabs the silver spoon....
1) Click Host Game.
2) Select Game Type and then Map
3) Click Game Rules
4) Under the Bots Click the Bot Mode drop down and select use Roster.
5) When use Roster is selected the last Tab un-grays. That last Tab is Bot Config. Use it to configure your teams.
6) Move on to Server Settings. Click on Players balance teams.
