Could you give us more information about Coupling?  What type of show it is?  What channel?

I've used up all my Google credits for today.   shrug

Re: TV Shows on DVD

It's a lame show that was on NBC for a short while before it was yanked because nobody watched it. down

I think it was yet another attempt by the US broadcasters to copy a successful British show.

It's a British show that airs on BBC. It's been running for 4 seasons, apparently. Oh, and did i mention it's hilarious? big_smile

It's a comedy filled with blatant sexual references. I really don't know how to describe it.

Re: TV Shows on DVD

I've seen one or two episodes of Coupling. It's not stellar, but it does have its funny moments.

Series I would collect but either haven't or don't because they're two expensive include Monkey Magic, The Goodies and Red Dwarf.

I have started collecting Transformers, with the first two DVD sets purchased. I've also got the first DVD of Shadow Raiders (War Planets in the US, I think) but never got around to buying any more. Oh, and I got three 3 Stooges DVDs for Christmas.

Re: TV Shows on DVD

I own:

All of Buffy
Angel seasons 1-4 (season 5 isn't out yet)
Green Acres season 1 (season 2 comes out in March)
Simpsons seasons 1,2 and 4.
Family Guy complete
Futurama season 1.
South Park seasons 1, 2 and 3

I realized this weekend that it was getting real expensive and taking up a lot of space to be collecting TV on DVD, so I joined NetFlix. I'll still buy series that I'm commited to, like the last season of Angel and all of Green Acres, but for most shows I think I'm going to rent.

Re: TV Shows on DVD

I almost went to Best Buy to try and find the dvds, but amaon has the first 4 seasons for like $70, so i'm going to wait a bit.

The tv shows i already own are:

Seinfeld - Seasons 1-3
That 70's Show - Season 1
Northern Exposure - Season 1
Just Shoot Me - Season 1
The Real World Season 1

I'll complete Seinfeld and That 70's Show. I may trade in Northern Exposure and just rent the rest of the series. There's a few hard to find Real Worlds i want. I bought the first season of Just Shoot Me for one episode, so i may not complete that set.

Re: TV Shows on DVD

My dad got the complete series of "The Newsroom" on DVD.  I finished watching them last night, and I must say that it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.  It made me want to watch TV.

I also have the complete Black Adder series.  And Freaks and Geeks.

Stargate

Me have.
Well, seasons 1-6 anyway. I thought I would get S7 for Christmas but did not, so next time it is in stock at Shopko I'll grab it. I could go to BestBuy I suppose, but I won't unless I need to for some other reason (it's out of the way for me).

Would someone actually be stupid enough to try and sell pirated shows/movies on eBay?
