AOL CD Autostarts in OS X?
I just got another AOL trial CD. How many CDs they have wasted I don't know. Anyway, I pop it just to see if it had an OS X version of the software and up pops the installer window!
Maybe I am missing something but I was not aware OS X could do an autorun. I know in OS 9 you could make one, but that required a System Folder and I see nothing like that on this disk.

Did the install app start or did the window containing the installer simply open? If the later, as always if you burn a disc with a directory opened, it will auto open that window on load.

No the VISE installer actually opened without me doing anything but putting the CD in.

If you see one try it out. The box has a green/yellw background and a big red/orange blob on it.
