Windows Media 9 in Safari
WM9 is a fact of life if you want to see most video on the web. So, how do you set it up to work within, or to just work with Safari? I click on a streaming link and it says WM9 isn't installed... ...but it is.
BTW, this is the site I want to watch videos from: revs.tv (I'm a big F1 fan) -it works for my friend with the same setup, but he doesn't know why his works and mine doesn't

Re: Windows Media 9 in Safari
Well it won't work within Safari, but it will work with Safari. I'm not quite sure what your problem is... as far as I remember, I simply install WMP and everything worked peachy. You might have to make sure .wmv files are set up to open in the correct application or that Safari knows how to handle this filetype. I'm not sure how to do this (I'm used to the big long list of suffixes in IE... I'd bet Safari's reading some system-wide list... check SysPrefs).
