Forgot something...
What was up with the officials? They were pretty horrid the entire game. They are lucky it was a blow out or the Raiders would have some serious complaining. (i.e Jerry Rice running out of bounds and being ruled down inbounds?!?! or the awful 2pt conversion call.)
Or as mentioned messing up the coin toss.

Re: Super Bowl
I was watching the game on high definitition digital. My neighbor sunk the cash into a very nice system. It was phenomenal to be able to see everything in such detail. I agreed with every revised call. The Raiders sucked. <yay> The left LA and stiffed us for a couple long term contracts so there's no love lost down here.

There was an HD feed?!?!
We had to watch it on crappy 4:3 format here!

Re: Super Bowl
Sure was. It was the SuperBowl after all! 16:9 here on a 62 inch screen.
We also had a small set running the regular analog feed. Sometimes the pictures were totally different. When they focused on the same scene, the analog feed had to get real tight on the subject in order to see what was happening. With HD the view was much larger, most of the field, and we could still make out the grimace, anger, pain and every other pimple on their faces.
My only real complaint about HD is that you could tell the audio was about one second ahead of the picture. The lips were out of sync when Madden was talking for instance.

Now Raiders fans in Oakland have to drown their sorrows by flipping cars over.

I don't see how you can say Gannon was overrated and bad. He was the Bucs' MVP, if you ask me.

Re: Super Bowl
RAIDERS! RAIDERS! RAIDERS! RAIDERS! RAIDERS!
Obviously you guys have no idea what you are talking about. Raider fans are not the criminals and thugs you make them out to be. We Raider fans have gotten a bad rap because of some of the bad apples that every team has. Every team has those fans who have a little to much to drink and get a little rowdy. It's all an act. Good fun.
:::cough::: yeah, as expected....massive riots by raider nation--heheheh...sore losers

Re: Super Bowl
BTW, somebody at AAF said that the Miller Lite girls are gonna have a new commercial. Man, I hope that's true. Gentlemen, start your VCRs!
Yeah.... I mean, i haven't found confirmation...but...The Rome (Show) thing the other day backs it up... I think a tell-tale sign will be if we see the original very early in the Super Bowl....if we see the original towards the middle or end...then my hope shall dim. But it makes sense, they HAVE shot a new one---why not slap it into super-bowl?
Well, the AAF guy was wrong...no new Miller Lite girls ad.
They did have that parody of it (for ABC's The Practice), but believe me, it wasn't the same.
Yeah, the officiating was bad. I thought only the best guys were supposed to work the playoffs and the Super Bowl, yet there's been some kind of screwup every step of the way. A local sportswriter wrote that the two (justifiably) overturned calls in the Super Bowl ensured that instant replay will be with us forever, and I think he's right.

They were talking about the new ad on the radio last week. It was already airing on cable, and apparently wasn't fit for network tv. The dj's were saying at the end, one girl asks another if she wants to make out. Dunno if that's true or not, or if that's why it won't air on network tv. I haven't seen it. Just heard about it on the radio.
