A friend in need is a friend indeed -- Thanks, Saddam!

Check this story out.

It says that, with the recent spike in oil prices due to ongoing chaos in rich Venezuela, the U.S. to prevent shortages, has doubled its oil imports from ... Iraq?

Yeah, that's right. Saddam may be Hitler, and some say he's determined to destroy the USA, but hey! Who's to say we can't make him richer by buying oil from him?

Here's my favourite part:

Saddam has offered lucrative contracts to companies from France, China, India and Indonesia as well as Russia.

It is only the oil majors based in Britain and America - now the leading military hawks - that don't have current access to Iraqi contracts.

If you click on the article mentioned in the original post, you'll find it's dated ... why, today!

Yep. . . just goes to show you that, for some, this isn't about the truth or about reasoned debate.

One only hopes that those debating in the actual theatres of involvement practice a little more intellectual honesty.

Don't worry, the majority in control are the only honest ones.

How does that make it necessarily biased, and how is it relevant to the objection made to your post of that outdated link?
