Started WU over

I had loaded and was crunching my first wu.  It had been running for about 4 or 5 hours and the progress bar was up to 2.5 %  ( graphical ).  I got up from my desk and when I came back the screen saver was running so I woke up the computer and the percent on the graphical  had reset to 0.0

Any body know what is up?

Re: Started WU over

OK!!!   I shut donw my computer for a few minutes and then after restart the WU started back at the begining.  After running for 45 minutes since restart the WU has reach 0.3 %.   If this is normal behavior for the program I can see why not many people are active.

If you're used to SETI, jecksf, be patient. Some Folding units will take days to complete. But, those are the ones which are worth more points. smile

Re: Started WU over

Not entirely. It depends on how "nicely" the shutdown occurred. I've had units start over, yes. But not after a normal shutdown or restart.
