USB/Firewire Hub

In an effort to eliminate wire clutter, and/or to make it easy to unplug the PB from peripherals can anyone suggest a good USB 2.0/Firewire combo hub? I have 2 firewire drives, the isight, a scanner (usb), a zip drive, and that's about it since the printer will be hooked up to the airport express. I basically want to be able to plug in the hub to the firewire and usb ports so i only have to unplug 2 wires rather tahn 5 or so.

ty in advance.

Re: USB/Firewire Hub

bumpin' this. I went to chump usa to look at the hubs, they had no combo ones but some belkin usb hubs. I'm still looking for a combo hub that has maybe 7 total ports for peripherals and you only need to connect 1 plug to each port (making for easy unplugging when i take the pb on the road).  having it be self powered with a big powerbrick is totally cool, the pb doesn't need to drive it.

anyone?

Re: USB/Firewire Hub

the paper hub is funny but not for me, I also don't think the dock is what i'm looking for. a simple combo hub would do.  i found one from iogear that is a 4/3 port usb 2.0/firewire hub but there is no purchase info or price. i think it may be too new, but am unsure???

Re: USB/Firewire Hub

Sorry, the price is around $60 I think. They were showing it at the booth at Macworld Expo.

Re: USB/Firewire Hub

yeah that's the page at iogear that I saw, no price.

but 60 bucks isn't bad considering.  i e-mailed them and they said it would be out in about 2 weeks or so.

Re: USB/Firewire Hub

D-Link makes one on Amazon that got a good review in macaddict.  Its small too.  The reviews on Amazon were bad though.
