F-Zero? Since when was that a great game?

Since it was released.

Whatever, F-Zero was never an amazing game. I admit, Zeldas of the past, Mario games, all most all amazing. F-Zero, give me a break.

I wish they didn't make things worse in some cases. The new Zelda looks stupid.

Have you? I wasn't talking about the gameplay if you didn't notice. I was talking about the look. I hate it. I cannot play a largly visiual medium that I hate looking at. If I want great gameplay without crappy looking visuals I'll play A Link to the Past or OoT or, my favorite, Link's Awakening. 

Metroid Prime could have controlled normally but didn't.

Normally? So what? If it was going to be the same as any other FPS, why even bother making it?

That statement isn't logical. We all know MP is an original game and a great game but why built a sweet car that you control with your ears? Couldn't they just give us another control set? That could be default and their could be other options. It doesn;t have to be the same at all to control similarly. You can still have all of the artistic vision if it controlled like standard dual analogue.

It is like they gave Metroid Prime no story

Yeah they did...you learn more as you scan the things around you. The delivery of the story is much more intelligent than stupid cinematics and cut scenes that lead into another level.

It seems most "31337 GaM3rZ" out there are having a hard time learning a new control scheme, and not having the plot spoon-fed to them thru cut scenes.

Whatever. Don't give me that bulll crap scanning is a story. Look at Metroid Fusion. That is a story. Metroid Prime has a premise, not a story. I am just saying it is not plot driven which can be cool sometimes. Chess is one of the best games ever and it doesn't have a story.

Anyway, I just don't like the new Zelda asthetic and have been playing Nintendo since I was 5 so I want something new and different.

I think you should play it before you pass judgement.

No. As I said, I don't play visual mediums if I don't like to look at them. You may love the game but I just don't care for the look.

Oh, and the gamecube is tiny. I can fit all my stuff in a little tupperware box to take with me. The Xbox could never to that, it's huge and heavy.

It isn't the SYSTEM but the GAMES that people make that makes it great. Sure, a system has to be good enough, but there's almost no difference between the GameCube, XBox or PS2 besides the companies and looks, and, oh, the games. That's why I gave the XBox a really bad rating

The only reason I like XBox is because of Halo, even though I still have my N64, SNES and PSX (every once in a while my bro go and play on the PSX or N64 ?
