'Immense HaloUT Update!'
PlanetUnreal.
2/3/05 6:21 PST - UT2004 Modifications
The guys over at HaloUT have sent in quite a bit of information, so I'll let you have it! The HaloUT 1.75 Pack (RC2) has over 100 new bugfixes, both big and small, and weighs in at 198MB. While not yet released, it's due to be released on Monday, and will not require any previous installations. Here's what you'll be getting with the new release:
65 Models/Skins: 37 are totally new, 17 are new MCs
Custom species
5 Vehicles (3 new)
4 Maps (All new!)
3 Voicepacks (Two new)
3 Weapons
9 Mutators (4 new)
All new gametype - flood invasion!
There also have been quite a few weapon tweaks, to better enforce balance (primarily with the plasma rifle.) If you're interested in this upcoming release - which I'm sure you are - you'll probably enjoy checking out Anuban's post at the bottom of this thread on the Atari/INA forums, which covers the release in more detail.

Nooooooooooooo! Dang we gotta wait until Monday to DL it. Well at least there's plenty of time to play with it before the LAN.

Re: 'Immense HaloUT Update!'
There is also something else you should know. 2 files were omitted by accident.

It's 2 Animation files needed for DM-HUT-Prisoner to work.

Hey Nards could you email me the two files. I don't want or need to sign up to another forum. If not I'll have to wait for the patch. Thanks

Acually, it was in the original content pack that had just player models in it. Just just really improved it to the point where it's 100000x better (aka, un-n00bified)

Re: 'Immense HaloUT Update!'
Patch coming. PlanetUnreal:
HaloUT Update - P1.751 - Virax -
2/15/05 11:40 PST - UT2004 Modifications
Project Torlan has prepared an update to P1.75, aptly named version P1.751. The update is currently being mirrored, and is not yet publically available - but will be, soon. It's to be released as a patch, and will require P1.75 to install. Here's a list of fixes:
Warthog SPX online Tc fix
Infection forms health fix, so they are now killed with one shot
Infection forms gibbing... no more ragdolls; this minimizes CPU strain.
Added explosion damage for Carriers and Infections when killed.
Female Pilots having male taunts
Female MCs having male taunts
Derelict graphic issues fixed completely
Prisoner graphic issues fixed further by adding blocking volumes
CTF and DM Xfire graphic issues fixed further, by adding blocking volumes
Dead mesh scale issue with Banshee and the Ghost
Plasma Rifle Halo Style & UT Style ROF adjusted to be closer to HaloCE ROF. Damage amounts have been increased slightly
Various changes to the projectile for the WH RL incl incr in damage and RL smoke trails
Decreased entry radius for the driver and increased radius of the turret; for both this and the WH MG
Increase of WH MG inflicted damage to better balance matches with the WH RL and Goliath tanks
Female Pilot team color fix
Excepting a small fix for MCs not showing correct skins, this is to be the last patch before the next major scheduled release, which will be version 2.0. I'll try to update this post with a download mirror, when available. Optionally, you could also refresh the official site every once in a while, checking for mirrors as they come!
Some editing to make it English.

Re: 'Immense HaloUT Update!'
Wonder if they ever fixed that damn warthog passenger-side glitch. It's funny, but I would rather see what the passenger side is really like.

The passenger side is way over rated.
