Yeah.. And I was considering buying it too.. I have never used iMovie, but that Ken Burns thing combined with export to VCD in toast is intruiging for slideshow gifts... I know you can currently export a quicktime slideshow, then convert to DV, but I havent found good settings for it yet.

I was deffinately looking forward to d/l it and playing with all the new features. Don't get me wrong here, I LOVE my 1GHZ TiBook, but this is so typical of apple to promise something they can't deliver.

Re: iLife Posponed INDEFFINATELY
um check your sources, ilife was delayed until Jan. 31st, like 10 days.
Oh And also did you know that microsoft is going out of business next week. Yup Bill Gates lives down the street from me now in a van by the river. He is only worth $4(which he spent on liqour). What?!? don't believe me?

I believe it's just the retail, boxed version that's been delayed.

That is what one would think, but Apple changed their site. It doesn't say anymore that iMovie and iPhoto will be available for download on the 25th, just that they will be available for download. Of course, who knows? Maybe they will still be available... I sure hope so, I really need iMovie 3's new sound feature for the video I'm working on.

Anyone else reminded of the WinXP ad campaign, "Suddenly, everthing..." uhhh...I forgot what the last word is...I got the word "Sucks" stuck in my head.

"Suddenly everything clicks", I think
But "Sucks" works too.
