Re: What's your Mac's gender?

To take Denilibriny's point, this would be a silly thread...

... if about half the languages on Earth didn't assign a gender to every single object. English is not the only language on the planet, but it is the internationally accepted language of banality.

I've never thought about my Mac's gender, but now I look at it, with its subtle soft curves, translucent skin and power cord... er... with its steel inner frame, rigid shell and easy to open side panel... uh...

I can't really give it a gender. Maybe it's asexual?

Re: What's your Mac's gender?

I guess my TiBook is female because of the slot-loading drive  big_smile

However, my Power Mac G3 is definitely male - big, bulky, strong, and the CD-Rom drive pops out with the push of a button.

Now that you mention it, I guess all computers are actually female because the USB, Firewire, ethernet, SCSI, paralel, phone, PS/2, COM, etc. ports are always the female end! (oYo)

So wait, my G3 is a hermaphrodite?  It pops out in front, yet it is female in the back.

Dive in the Pool!

I'm still trying to figure out if you're a girl posing as Macboy4139, or a boy posing as a girl, and a bit confused sexually. <shrug> laughinol

This topic is like asking what's your ass's personality like. In other words, it should be destroyed from history and everyone who replied to it must have their memory flashed like men in black.

My red iMac DV is both, and neither.
