Re: My Computer in the Dark/Cool Pics Pt. II
hehe.. thanks
it took quite a while to build that setup as the computer there is a top of the line dual 500 that i bought the day it was announced. of course by now i've upgraded just about every aspect of it...
my most daring modification (which is actually pretty timid)

Hm...I can't really tell what you did there (which is my fault). Care to enlighten me?
Oh, and I like your setup too.

Re: My Computer in the Dark/Cool Pics Pt. II
i've essentially got my computer running off of two power supplies that are sitting behind the tower. it started overheating after a installed the superdrive so a friend jokingly suggested removing the power supply. after all, that was where the bottleneck in the air flow was. so we replaced the power supply with the two 80mm<?> fans you see in the pictures
Warmest regards.
Sincerely,
Kevin

I assume, I can put a real pic up, you ugys guessed most of my stuff in the dark, so I don't think I'll be ruining anyone's fun...

How do you reload paper into that printer? Use a ladder or somthing?
The methods of science are manifestly effective, having made massive humanitarian contributions to society. It is this very effectiveness which the purveyors of mystical philosophies attack, because they recognise in it the chief threat to the belief-based source of their power and financial reward. -Harry Kroto, Nobel Laureate

Both are "Apple Issued" They don't belong to me. the iBook is sort of mine, I get to do as I wish with it as long as I demo at certian events for work, but the Ti is not really mine, and they can ask for it whnever they need it and they ship it out to schools and lend it to people and so on, so I only have it 1/2 the time, and they reinstall the OS and wipe the drive often so thaty can do site specific demos... I love having it when I do, but I can't really get used to it, becuase just when I start to, they take it away and clean it... I am NOT complaining... but the G4 and Cinema display are MINE, I saved up (4 years
) and bought it, and they can't tell me what to do with it!

Very Carefully...
No, I kid, I kid, it isn't that high, I can do it, almost comfortably, on my tip-toes... but I print so rarely that it isn't to much of an issue, about once a month I do an iPhoto printing session, and occationaly I print things of the net like reciepts, so have to reload that thing at most every few weeks when I switch from paper to photopaper... but once I get my AirPort Extreme (my original Base Station is dead
) and I can move the printer, I probably will...
