Apple sued once and lost, but that doesn't stop the mac faithful from claiming MS "stole" from Apple.

I don't think it's ever been proven MS took anything from Apple.

BTW what basis would Apple have to sue?, can you say MS didn't develop, or have these concepts first?

I think you could have cut out even more of the history, AMD.

"Apple MS Apple" would have been shorter and just as historically accurate.

I would believe they did, provided they posted them first.  At the very least.  When you see how Panther was out a year ago, and now Longhorn looks very similar to what we had and have been using.  Hard to believe they "had it in development" the whole time.  When MS comes out with something "First" then they will start to look good in my eye.  However, they always seem to just take a copy from something else.  they change it up slightly, and thats it.

There Explorer for Windows worked just fine.  And to me was signature MS.  Now it looks like the Apple Finder.  WTF?  Even in the tool bar.  If they were in dev for as long as Apple was.  Or even longer.  Then either they are really FREAkIN SlOw programers.  Or they SUCK at doing this kind of work.  If Apple copied from something they saw MS doing with Longhorn.  Then either there WICKEDLy FaSt at getting something to work from just a rudimentary example.  Or there Mac OS X is just easier to work with in getting newer technologies integrated into it.  Either way, Apple is better.

"Fast Search"
"Stacks"

If it is patented, copyrighted, or trademarked, they can (and should) sue. I know that in the case of copyrights, if you don't take steps to protect your rights, you can lose them. Not sure about the case of patents.
