Re: Florida Residents: Open Fire!
Odd; I thought the forums were melting, but maybe it's just a Safari 10.2.8 issue.
Pages 3 (on the left; note the weird bold in text and profile info) and 2 (on the right, looks fine) of this thread, overlapped in separate Safari windows:
Again, with Safari on top and Firefox below. Looks fine in FF, but Saf's weird even after a page reload:

I'm not seeing you issues on my end with Safari v. 1.4.2 on OSX 10.3.8, but then again I am using oxygen MAF and you're using (Max Attack?). . .
Now back on topic with thee!
edit: upon further review, it is indeed an issue with MaxAttack.

It is a problem with not closing your bold tags in a quote and then closing it in the later quote. Now lets get back on topic.

Hum...I'm assuming the law does not state what perceived threat is...er...threatening?
Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.

Id bet your one of those people who believe in the death penalty but against abortion too. same applies here, no credibility if you ask me.

Re: Florida Residents: Open Fire!
That's scary. There was this time when I went to the grocery, a lady forgot some of her stuff. I was next to her on the line, so I knew it was hers. I chased her up to the parking ramp. She seemed very occupied, she didn't hear me. So I tapped her shoulder. She jumped and yelped. Had she been armed and it was okay to drill a hole on a stranger perceived being threatening, I could've been wounded or dead. It was dark too outside.
And while I agree if someone breaks into your property their intention is clear, I'm not sure using a gun is the best way to deal with them. especially when there are your loved ones around.
1. Instill fear.
2. ???????? (use your imagination)
3. Profit!

Yea. what he said.
Here is a novel idea, try fighting crime from its foundation rather than killin any threat. Fight poverty, disillusionment among teens, ect.

Funny, if cops or soldiers operated under the same rules of engagement, people would freak out. Okay with ordinary untrained folks, though, I guess.
