If not from the admin panel, I'm sure gooey could do it directly from the mysql database.

Accounts can be deleted, but they never are (except spammers).  The most we do is lock them out permanantly. 

If we deleted an account outright, all the posts ever made with that account would disappear - which would make any threads that person participated in confusing.  Besides, if we deleted it outright we'd lose all the IP information and someone whose account had been deleted could come back pretending to be someone new.

Wow.  If you don't like the place, just go away.

Use the User List to find GUI or Kirk, and have them change your name. They don't like doing it, so ask real nicely, and say that you have privacy concerns because your username is too close to your real name. Maybe they'll consider doing it.

Change your blog url, too.
