Safari 2.0 for Tiger.

I am not alone in this.  Macfixit indicated the problem also.
After installing Tiger, Safari 2.0 the new product does not run.
Apple diagnostics indicated that there was no change in the TCP.
I was able to run IE, and Firefox with no problem.
Macfixit recommended the following:
Install a back up copy of Safari 1.2.4.
Rename the product Safari 124.
Place the product on the dock.
And use the old Safari.
That did work.
However does anyone have any suggestions on how to get Safari 2.0 to work.
Or is there a bug in the product?

Re: Safari 2.0 for Tiger.

I am using Safari 2.0 (412) after I did an upgrade to Tiger from 10.3.9.  There are plenty of screen redrawing issues but the browser does work, no crashes.  And I get the same video related redraw issues outside of Safari.

Reinstall Safari 2.0
