Does anyone use the irc channel anymore? lately it has been dead between 8 and 10 PM PDT.

I'll have to install ircle and come chat it up again. I haven't been active in MAFirc for like a year and a half now. sad

The channel tends to get a little quite as the seasons change. Especially during summer when students are done with school and more people are going outside.

Also, this is just a little hint for folks who might be new to IRC.

If you come in and the channel is quiet, don't just leave right away. Say hi, try to strike up a conversation, and then give it a few minutes. If people are working or busy doing other things, they might not notice you right away. If you leave as quickly as you enter, you might never talk to anyone! Have a little patience.
