Re: village idiots stage protest at Apple HQ
As an envrionmentalist and a Mac lover, I think that there are more things that Apple should do in trying to be more envrionmentally friendly. But a lot of companies should do more to be more envrionmentally friendly. I don't think they should just target Apple when there are other computer companies that worse than apple regarding envrionmental conditions.

I want to know what happened to CD too. I can't find the thread that got him banned. Was it the airport thread? Didn't seem that offensive. Oh well, the thead was probably deleted.

It's a gay-straight luddite alliance! The Rainbow coalition would be proud of you, CD.
OS 9 worked, but compared to X it's crap. I've compared it to Windows 98 before, and I stand by that now.

As far as apple behaving like smurfs, I don't quite get their reaction to Wiley printing the book iCon and their draconian response. From what I hear, the book is actually complementary.

i think banning the book in the Apple Stores and going after the ThinkSecret site are just a way for Apple to generate some added publicity - there's no such thing as bad publicity. just another way to keep their names in headlines and the public's mind.
