Fast DVD Copy (Software program)
It took me 114 minutes to burn a DVD using "Fast DVD Copy" on a iMac G5 (1.8GHz) Does anyone using this software know if this is normal? (If so, I think they need to change the name of the software!!) Any suggestions??

It's ripping, recompressing, and burning, dude. Sounds pretty damn good to me.

Re: Fast DVD Copy (Software program)
It takes about 170 minutes on my 800mhz iMac. I would think it would go faster on such a powerful iMac...

Dvd shrink on my Athlon XP takes 30 to 40 minutes and that includes burning.

I wondered since my son burns DVDs in 15-20 minutes on his Windows machine!

Fact is that the software for the PC backups is much better than that for the Mac. My PC is simply used for making DVDs and downloading from Newsgroups. Everything else is done with my mac.
