Banned for abusing a moderator password after it was posted on irc and allowing users to run rampant on MAF. Running rampant moving Mod Squad threads into public view.

Is this a first offense from Ender Wiggins? I don't remember him ever being a troublemaker before, but I haven't been here that long I guess.

You know, I don't really remember him being a troublemaker before either. Participating in this betrayal of trust, helping to attack MAF, create chaos and attack MAF moderators (including the release of private information that was hidden behind a password in the Mod Squad) - he's not coming back.

When you put it that way I totally agree. Perhaps the real problem here was the choosing of the mod, but that has also been dealt with. Plus, Jehannum has been a mod for as long as I've been here iirc. What a strange case, has anything happened like this before?

He's been a mod for as long as I've been here.

Heh. There's a considerable difference between disagreeing politically with a moderator and locking down entire forums before moving personal information into the public eye.

We're still not sure how many threads (if any) got deleted, GUI is considering using last night's backups to restore things.

Ender didn't release anything. He just edited some filters and whatnot...

He was made a mod in June 2003- same day as roo and me.
