The Banned
This thread is here to serve as notification when someone is banned. We will, in brief, explain why the ban occurred and what the duration is.
After the ban expires, the post pertaining to a person who was banned will be removed; this list will only contain people who are currently banned.
Though there are a few people who have been permanantly banned from MacAddict forums, we will not be listing their names here. This list is for temp-bans only.
Please bear in mind that none of these people are here to defend themselves, so we're really discouraging cheap shots on them when they're down.
Edit: After the ban expires, the post pertaining to the banned person will not be removed.

We have had a lot of discussion about how we're handling ban threads, and so we're going to try to handle them a slightly different way.
- This thread will remain locked.
- A simple announcement announcement will be made here for each ban, much as the way they have been dealt with in the past. This announcement will include a link to an unlocked thread which will provide our reasoning for the ban.
- Discussion will be accepted in that thread.
- Permanant bans will be explained publicly, just as the temp bans.
