No.  The difference is that Alien promised to cool down and ease up, whereas you're eager to lash out.

But our standard policy is to give people a chance to shape up (warn them) before we start with bans.  As Alien said, Oatmeal contacted him about it.

I know (thus the wink).  I'm saying that, if a member were to have a bad day and were to lash out out of character, we can understand that and will usually just issue a warning.  If its someone who's known for their abbrasiveness, or who has already been warned recently, then more severe punishment is usually in order.

This topic is about bullying moderators.

It has nothing to do with my character, aside from the fact that nothing in the eWorld topic displays "whining" or me being a "bitch". I made a sardonic comment that was completely innocuous ("I thought eWorld was stupid."), and I followed it up with a perfectly relevant comment that pointed out that the topic isn't a rant. A poster sniped, posting the definition of rant, and I responded, quite correctly, by pointing out that the definition of rant doesn't disprove my correct point which is that the topic is not a rant. Alien called me a whiny bitch and a troll.

That's what this topic is about; the eWorld topic. People can try all they like to justify Alien's very inappropriate behavior with ficitious character assassination, but the topic itself stands alone. I should also suggest that, if we're going to look outside it to other topics in an attempt to attack me, why not take a look at another recent Rant Room topic, Debbie's Hillary Clinton topic. Tell me how I'm a whiny bitch in that topic. On the contrary, that thread, and so many more, illustrate how I'm one of the better posters in the forum. I write paragraphs that are carefully considered. I can think of a number of posters who posted in this topic who fall quite short of my performance.

If you can't give a good example of how I'm a homophobe, then you're only going to prove that you're exacty what people have said you are.  I'm still waiting.  Forget everyone else's obvious homophobia, and address me.

Sorry, my dear boi de l'eaux, but all joking aside, I really want to hear why he thinks that I'm suddenly a homophobe when I've taken his side before, more often than not.  If he has a real claim on this, I'd be more than glad to discuss it with him.  So far, he has no basis for his (ahem) character assassination that he's trying to pull on me, and if he can't actually justify his attack on me (as I strongly suspect the case will be), then he's lost one of the few friends he had within the Squad.  No one will try to defend him anymore when he further pisses people off.
