Uh...
Phish has never covered Gin and Juice. Official word on the street from phish.net is that the Gin and Juice that you'll wind up downloading from a P2P network is done by The Gourds.
One of the supporting vocals is a rapper named Phish, but that's where the similarities end.
I am shocked at how long it is taking people to accept that Phish isn't responsible for that cover. Those vocals sound nothing like Trey Anastasio or anyone else in Phish. It is something they would've done, but it was clearly not them. I would like to meet the guy who put that out there though. He either did it to spread it quickly, or he was an idiot.

Re: Only in America
That kind of thing happened all the time during the heyday of napster. There were many remixes and covers (especially punk covers) attributed to all kinds of people.

Re: Only in America
That used to piss me off, but now that Phish quit touring/recording I think it's kind of amusing.
On a related topic, I wonder why I was so uptight about it in the first place.
What a waste of energy.
Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

Every car Chrystler has been making has been hott fire, and no demographic or marketing appeal will change that.
Snoop is the man, but Chrystler doesn't need anyone right now. Between the Crossfire and 300, Chrystler is teaching America how to live.

yep, I have really been admireing Chryslers cars lately. They have come along way since the 70s when they were considered just a small step up from American Motors.

Have you been admiring them because they look better or run better? I'll admit they look a lot better than they ever have, but i doubt i'd ever buy one.
