MSN Messenger Update?
So that Microsoft chick said briefly at the last Keynote that MS would be releasing an update for MSN Messenger....any ideas as to when that will be? Or will be released along the same timelines as LongHorn?

Well, the new MSN Messenger update is finally here. And it sucks. It has display pictures, you can send more than one file at a time, multiple logins for personal/corporate use and a new fancy dancy UI that really isn't very spectacular...but it is brushed metal if that matters to anyone.
Things it doesn't have:
No animated smilies yet.
No audio chat
No video chat.
No "winks" (thank god)
And still no advertising woo-woo.
After waiting so long for an update, my excitement levels lasted about 2.5 seconds.

Is it really that hard to make the Mac Messenger like the Windows one? Or are they just bastards?
I haven't used their messenger in a while. I like Adium!
