Warcraft III installation issue
I recently bought Warcraft III and attempted to install it onto my ibook G4.
I'm running Panther.
Basically, there is no installation program on the disk to run. I mean... nothing is 'runnable'. I mean.. look here is a screen grab:
Get what I mean? The files are just... there.. none of the programs I have on my system want to know about them...What's going on here? I've tried opening the files with zipit, stuffit expander, file juicer and every other random program going... no joy. I've even copied the disk image to see if it would run from my hard disk. Nothing. How can I get this game installed onto my Mac!?
Any help would be seriously appreciated.

Looks like you installed the PC version on your mac... perhaps a different disc is needed?

It looks like the disc is showing the PC files and not the Mac files for some reason.

Purchased fair and square from a reputable game store. GAME, in fact. You cheeky monkeys.
I've since been in and tried other disks. Same thing. I got a refund. Fact remains that the box and manual both claimed that the software was OS X compatible.
