Getting MacBook to display on TV
Hey guys,
I got a MacBook, and the mini DVI --> S-Video/RCA adapter. I want to make my macbook display on my (non HD) television (I think it's 720p or something), anyway, when I plugged it in, I only got a horribly distorted signal. I tried changing around the resolutions and stuff, but the signal still looks like crap (most of the time my tv says there is no usable signal..) Any advice guys?

Re: Getting MacBook to display on TV
Make sure that the resolution is set for the proper tv type. If you are in North america for example the standard tv system is NTSC whereas in europe it is PAL.
If it is set to PAL and you are trying to display on an NTSC tv then you will not get a viewable image.
Go into your display settings and set the dipsplay menu bar option on and you should be able to select between resolution and format for the TV side on the menu.
