Read a failed CD-R?
Is there a way to read a failed CD-R? More specifically, an Audio CD that does not have a proper header?
There's got to be a way to access the raw data...

Quite possibly DataRescueII could do that for you. I have never tried that particular thing with it but it seems likely if the presence of the disk can be detected at all.
