Ahh so it was a launch event. Maybe if I hadn't flown in on the day of the launch...tho I dunno, it would have been a little hectic to get there and back while trying to deal with the ferries. Unless i'd have gone the long way via Tacoma.

Oh, I know. It was just a bunch of Frenchies that found him on one of those achievement whore sites that recruited him because they thought he was French. TRUE STORY.

Last night we did Last Exit on Normal. I'm glad we weren't trying to get Endure because Phy wound up passing his pad around to other people in the room and only taking it back when the account was the Last Man Standing or when there were no lives left. Then letting others jump in it when lives were replenished. Yeah, nice or whatever, I just know we could've gone farther without rugrats throwing me into Brute Chieftains. Rugrats slamming into me with the Ghost. Absolutely no cover fire and instead the digital equivalent of them throwing their hands up in the air and running away screaming.

I spent maybe 45 minutes on a reply. It died fishing up the final addendum. Don't know if I'll ever rebuild it now- fitting end to a bad day.

Our game, your & my points/death are quite close. Different functions in team play, partly. Phy, more practiced at FF, did better- quite well. We adjust our play to meld as a team.

...which reminds me- since Mon night's game also involved Phy as well as Levi & son- so I often heard 'my' voice saying things inappropriate to my immediate sitch- if I'd had any presence of mind, I could've switched from Buck to Dare, since beating Legendary unlocks her use in FF. Tell us apart, anyway, and maybe hear a few new lines.

So-so overall; I napped out while waiting for the others... never did catch fire, but another low-score, low-death game for me. Supported my teamies OK.

Another day, another Firefight. Take that, Rib.

If I think of more i'll update later. I didn't find much aside from these to gripe about tho...

NC's missing a lot. When one game can go an hour or three and seem like a few minutes, it's something good. And I've had much joy from SP. Thread's mostly ODST from 9/22 on.

GT= csffxi my old one wouldnt recover so i had to make a new one lost all my games i bought and everything

I'm puzzled too. I lost some irretrievables with each RRoD, but after jumping thru some hoops much can be brought back. Your old GT should be one of the simpler ones.

For that matter, arcane are the ways of XBL... when the old HDD died with the last one, the 'new' unit came back stuffed with useless demos and whatnot, and minus some valuables. Marathon II came back as a demo, despite my Achievements (like 'Pfhor the Win,' beating the game) being listed normally.

I fired it up last week just to get some music to try jiggering some dying adapters into giving me game sound while I get replacements. Seems all that was needed to unlock the game- it's no longer shown as needing payment to unlock the full version. Dunno if saved games survived.

OTOH it seems that firing up Disc 2 of ODST kills all your recent game films, so get them saved or screens taken first. Lost much good stuff.
