Wireless Mouse (Mighty mouse) doesn't reconnect
Hello,
I'm having trouble getting my mighty mouse to reconnect after I turn it off at the button (by covering the hole with the switch).
After I turn it on, the computer won't see it or reconnect to it unless I go into "set up new device".
Is this how it's supposed to be? It's getting annoying.
Thanks,
jb.

Re: Wireless Mouse (Mighty mouse) doesn't reconnect
when I turn mine back on I just click the mouse button a few times move it around and it reconnects.
in my BT preferences I have my mouse listed as one of my favorites. I"m not sure if that helps at all but I don't have any troubles with my mouse.

Yes, my mouse is a favourite too.
So I should take the mouse to an apple store?

No. If you actually slide the cover over the laser, you'll have to reconnect through system prefs. If you don't, your computer will connect to it whenever it comes back into range as long as the cover is open.

Ohhhh right.
Ok, I'll try just leaving it open all the time then, and seeing how it goes. I just assumed you had to toggle it.
Thanks!
