convert for zunes
my friend just got a zune and needs something to convert files.
need something to convert AVI or MPEG to windows media player files

If I recall, the Zune plays MP3 ? If yes, then convert the music to MP3.
Mac Intel Folding members should get the latest install now. Your Intel Macs may have stopped folding. Get the download, install and activate Folding in System Preferences. download thread

unfortunately my friend doesn't have a mac and uses windows, is there another program that he could use that doesn't cost money

Makes sense due to no Mac support on the zoune.

What about iTunes? I know it does some conversions. However you have to set the preference to mp3 otherwise it'll convert them to acc files by default.
One thousand years are burned everytime 10 million play WoW for an hour.

i have a mac, i use this website a lot when i'm stuck on things, i like this website... so why is it a huge deal that i think i'll get good advice on something that god forbid deals with PC's

I second using iTunes for the conversion. Just highlight everything, hit convert to MP3. Your video files...I'm guessing could be done in quicktime maybe, I'm not sure though.
