But, I thought that of Dubya in 2000, too. So, what do I know.seriously?
Well, who the heck else was there?
Gore? He's still a bore, and pompous to boot.
McCain? He was an old codger back then too.
I can't even remember anyone else.
Well, I assume Sharpton was in the early race (because he usually was back then), but that's not saying much either.
But, who else was there? No one of any note.
Pat Buchanan, John Ashcroft, "Liddy" Dole, Steve Forbes, Bill Bradley. But Bush was the bright bulb?

We talking about the same Jeb who tried to give mouth-to-mouth to Terri?
Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.
Unless you become as little children, there's no way you will believe this crap.

Only a legislative one, not literally.

I really, really shouldn't have to be uncertain about something like that. It's just not right that our leadership inspires so little faith that that actually sounds plausible.

Personally I'm not confident either Hillary or Obama can win the whole enchilada.
I have a feeling Obama would get crushed, while Hillary would at least keep it competitive.
I'm hoping the Republicans nominate Giuliani. The Republican base doesn't seem to mind the creepiness and corruption, but he'll turn off a large segment of the public.People love to hate Hillary. She's in for a hell of a rough ride if she gets the nomination.
One of the Republican party's main strengths is their ability to drum up hatred against any given target.
If Obama wins the nomination, you can expect the conservative media to start referring to him as Barack Hussein Obama and to come up with an endless string of front page scandals about him involving Christmas trees, vibrators, and Louis Farrakhan.
When he loses the general all the pundits will chastise Dems for choosing someone so "polarizing."
At least Hillary knows what she's up against, and won't be too timid to fight back. Because of the general anti-Republican atmosphere I think she'll probably be able to pull off a victory.

I'll give you Pat B., of course.

Well there's Iraq. And warrantless wiretapping. And torture. And shredding the Constitution. And.. oh hell... he votes with the GOP on everything that makes a difference. Plus he plays suckyface with that mean, obnoxious bully Hannity on a regular basis.
I dislike a lot of the republicans, but I absolutely despise Lieberman with a passion.

Buchanan would have been a far better president than Bush has been. As crazy as he is I dont thing he is anywhere as just plain stupid as Bush.
