it came from outer space
it started with anoying drop downs warning me that the verisign certificate on the site i was about to go to had expired, and that any data i sent was at high risk. well i went there anyway, and continue to do so whenever this warning appears, which is way too often. stranger still is the warning that this certificate expired way back in august of 2008. now wait a minute. what are you saying here?
anybody else experience this thing?
got emac, os 10.2.8. happens on any browser- camino. sea monkey, firefox.

Re: it came from outer space
I get similar error occasionally, but it's talking about my ISP's certificate, and that one expired on July 16th 2009.
Yeah, weird stuff.
It goes away when I sign in with my ISP again.

Have you checked your system clock? Maybe your computer thinks it's November 2011.
