RAM upgrade

I was on this site a few weeks ago and saw an article or page that had a link to a website with really cheap RAP sticks.  It was something like $59 total for 2 512 sticks.   Anybody know what this site might be or any other good cheap sites?  Thanks in advance!!

Re: RAM upgrade

I always buy from Newegg (usually corsair value select) but many people swear by Crucial. You can get crucial RAM at newegg for far less than from crucial themselves, but they give you a better guarantee if you buy direct.

Re: RAM upgrade

I got 2 gigs of RAM for my MacBook from Crucial for only $60.

It depends on the type of RAM--RAM no longer commonly made do have their prices go up.

RAM for which model Mac?

Re: RAM upgrade

This may be the post you're thinking about.  I still haven't bought the RAM yet.  Waiting until after the holidays.

I should have been more specific.

Macbook 13"  1.83ghz Intel Core 2 Duo  came with dual 256 MB sticks

Thanks for everybody's posts so far.  None of which are linked to the original article (i think it was an article that was in an issue of maclife, definitely not a forum thread) or site that I was referring to, but lots of other good ones have come up.  I should find something good in what you all have sent and I appreciate it.

Re: RAM upgrade

For your MB you can put in the max usable RAM--3 GBs--for US$75 (plus shipping) from Other World Computing--the link is for all of their RAM options for your MB so scroll down to see the 3 GB set.
