Cannot send email
I have a B&W 400MHz G3 runnng OS9.2.1 and using Netscape 7.02 for email. ISP is Verizon FIOS.
All was good until a month ago when a system crash left me without the ability to send email from Netscape.
I have reloaded Netscape and upgraded to OS9.2.1, all without any improvement.
I have reviewed the settings several times with Verizon and seem to have the correct.
Any suggestions?

Well, I seem to have fixed that problem, although I don't know why it was not more straight forward.
My password was wrong, so when I sent mail through (to) Verizon,net the authentication failed. Why Verizon couldn't tell me this is just dumb.
I had to fix it kind of trickly. Changed mr user name to rfmason3@verizon.net (this resulted in a name of rfmason3@verizon.net@verizon.net). It then asked for a password, which proved to fix the problem.
