losing verbal ability
I have noticed that I have been mistyping words a lot lately. I do not know why but I do not mistype just letters but entire words that have nothing in common. Originally it was only words that were related phonetically but recently I have been noticing that I often just replace words at random and I do not notice.
Do any of you know if this can be a degenerative condition and how bad can it get?
Thanks

See a doctor.
we're just a bunch of yahoos on the internet... dont ask us for medical advice
And dont try to fix it on your own. I remember your threads about self surgery.
From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law.

You might have a toomah.

I've found that I have done the same thing. I think it's just that you are thinking of other things as you type and your subconscious tells your fingers to type the extra words.

No smurfing way. You did that to yourself? Without any kind of numbing agent? I call shenanigans on this.

I remember back when he did it. It was the talk of the MAF for a while. Never did see a picture, mind you.
Still don't care to, thanks.

It could be from reading pages and pages of grammatically incorrect writing on the internet. It seeps into your brain like an oil spill and impairs your ability to spell correctly.
The only treatment is to read lots of Books printed on dead trees.

How often is "often"? If you are doing this every tenth word, see a doctor immediately. One in ten thousand is not so serious, according to the algorithm I just invented in my head for my own amusement.

I haven't noticed a difference.
I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

I've noticed that my ability to put thought into text has been less than brilliant lately. I just assumed it was the usual winter light deprivation thing that always gives me trouble.
