Get any games for the holidays?

Did anyone get any games for the holidays? If so let them be known.

As for me, I received Final Fantasy VII & Arc the Lad End of Darkness for the PS2.

Got a Wii for the kids and myself. Mario Party 8 for them, Zelda: TP and Tomb Raider (gift) for me!

-On a side note - my 4 year old kicks my behind in Wii Sports Bowling!

It's all about the Hamiltons, baby.

If you're in to RPGs I'd suggest Mass Effect and Bioshock.

While it was purchased on the release date, Mario Galaxy was a "Christmas gift".

I got Mass Effect. First 30 minutes was all "WTF?" followed by three hours of "Best KotOR they've made yet."

I got this cool "SAT Study Camp" game. You choose from A, B, C, D, and E and there's only one right answer!

Re: Get any games for the holidays?

Yeah a lot, but mostly titles that had been out or were hard to find and thus cheaper than stuff like Gears/UT3. Hit a lot of Target clearance racks, found some nice deals.

Otherwise...Conan, Star Trek Legacy, and Kengo: Legend of the 9 for 360. Then on the 2nd of January its all Soul Calibur 4 and hoping they don't screw up Taki anymore like they did in SC3.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.  I wanted to get it, but didn't even ask anyone for it because I wanted cheaper/more modest gifts for Christmas.  So much for that.  Not that I'm complaining, the game is excellent.

Re: Get any games for the holidays?

GoW PC for $32.49 delivered. Gonna have GoW with mouse aiming, fight me a Brumak and render at (not upscale to) 16x12 & 1680x1050. No auto-aim even on 360, it belongs on the PC. Woohoo.

Re: Get any games for the holidays?

My awesome GF got me a Wii so I got to play the Zelda:TP Wii version that has been sitting in my house, and I am going to pickup Mario Galaxy this weekend. BTW my kids love the Wii sports, its great seeing them laugh, have fun and break a sweat playing video games. Best system I have seen from a family and fun perspective and thats what video games are about for me anyways so it works out great!

I got Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings for the DS.  I'm not impressed so far, although I loved the PS2 game.

NinjaBread Man for Wii. Feels suspiciously like a so-so port.

Re: Get any games for the holidays?

That's a negative on the games. I've considered the more recent burnout release for the Xbox, or maybe a lego star wars or other star wars game. Any recommendations?
