One of the liberal blogs had a good comment... "It's taken the Ron Paul looneys to do what the liberals should have gotten off their bongs to do years ago"

I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

That makes more sense grammatically, but the chanting sounded more like "smurf you suck" to me.

That's what I thought they were saying.

The problem with doing something like that is that you come off looking like a bunch of smurfs. (Which is somewhat ironic, I think, since if they could have gotten a huge demonstration together, they would have seemed like a legitimate protest.) It's too bad there isn't a libertarian John Stewart to go on the Fox shows and reveal all their hosts to be the tools they are.

if anything...  ron paul being left out of the FOX debates have brought more attention to him so maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

CBS Ignores Ron Paul!

Only Republican hopefuls Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter have passed through since September despite the fact that the party will hold meetings Saturday to select delegates that will help determine the party's candidate at the Republican presidential nominating convention in September.

I'd like to see all members of the MSM chased down the street during every primary/caucus.  Every time they ask some kind of crazy question that has no basis in reality or fail to ask a question, a crowd should be waiting for them like they were Frankenstein's monster.

That's awesome. Murdoch's minions have always been blatant.

If Guiliani ever looks to be in real trouble, I expect to see Fox take their propagandising even farther.

How is it even possible for Fox News to exist in a "competitive" news marketplace? Wouldn't (oughtn't) their rivals blast them for their incompetence/lies?

But calling the news business competitive is really just begging the question. There's deeper matters at play.

So Murdoch's minions managed to make it in to CBS and edit their version of the AP article too?

Murdoch's minions have always been blatant.

So unless you have embraced the fallacy of "false but accurate" you seem to be identifying this situation as just another media manipulation by Fox.

Too bad its not.  There are multiple versions of this and similar AP articles out there from a wide variety of sources. Some include RP some do not. This is an AP problem, not a Fox news problem. Sorry to break it to you.

Version 1:

Only Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter have passed through since September.

Version 2:

Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul have passed through since September. Mike Huckabee, Rudy Giuliani and John McCain have not.

It was probably too good to believe false but accurate died with Dan Rather's career anyway.

Your fetishising of the media is really quite something to behold.  Exactly how many times would you imagine you've mentioned "Dan Rather" on this board?

Not enough times, apparently:  you folks still act like the can media be correct.

Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.  Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet."  They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.
