Wireless N for Core Duo Macbook Pros (Pre-N Airport)

How can you get wireless for a pre-n Airport Macbook Pro? I've been digging around trying to find the answer. I have found a few and looking for more.

1) usb dongles - ok but often don't have dual radios usually only 2.4ghz
2) replacing internal airport cards. expensive. not easy if you stumble when you pick up tools.
3) PC Express 34 cards still have not found one for the mac yet. Any ideas?

Anyhow want to get all my stuff on N. I have airport extreme and soon an Apple Tv.

Re: Wireless N for Core Duo Macbook Pros (Pre-N Airport)

Hi,
I have a Macbook Pro which I wanted to upgrade to 802.11n and did some research.
I found a company called QuickerTek and I purchased one of their aCards.
I installed the aCard which is 802.11a/b/g/n I set my AirPort Extreme Base Station to 5ghz (802.11n) only and my Macbook Pro has a link speed of 300Mbps.  I do loose distance in my signal strength but, it is twice as fast.
I love it!!
Thanks QuickerTek!

I think that you cannot use option 2. Compare the connections for a pre-n AirPort Extreme card in a Core Duo MBP here with those for a "post-n" AirPort Extreme card in a Core 2 Duo MBP here.
