Internet Explorer = No Flash??

Ok so I recently designed a site for my dad's art. I built it mainly in flash. It is completed and online, however, IE won't display it on any windows computers so far. Firefox will though. I had a friend of mine try it in IE on Vista, and the flash video is just blank. My dad tried it in IE on an XP computer at his work, and again, nothing. Firefox displays it fine in windows. Opera, Firefox, and Safari all display it just fine on my macs.

I am kind of inexperienced in some aspects of web design and have no idea how to troubleshoot browser incompatibilities. Does anyone have any suggestions or help to offer? It would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

The site in question is www.creativeramstudios.com

Re: Internet Explorer = No Flash??

Have you tried updating Flash on those computers where your site is not working? If that doesn't work, how about uninstalling any old versions of Flash (make sure to check under "Macromedia Flash" as well) then installing only the latest version?

Just a note: thanks for the low-bandwidth version, but you might put that link on your opening page as well.

Using IE here at work on Vista and the site's flash works fine. Must be a version issue on your PCs.

Re: Internet Explorer = No Flash??

The Vista machine was updated to the latest version, the XP machine was running Flashplayer 8, which is only one version behind. I built the site in Flash MX, which exports Flashplayer 6 files, so theoretically it should work on both machines. I didn't try uninstalling previous versions. I'll see what happens then.

Also, the low-bandwidth version isn't online at the moment, but the opening page will contain that link also wink

Thanks Walrus, i'm glad it works for some. Now i just need to figure out why it doesn't for others...
