UT2004 on Leopard/Intel glitches
Ok, this on a new imac 2 GHz Core2Duo with the RadeonHD2400. The game installs fine and I have updated to the 3369.2 universal patch.
The player models are displayed correctly, but the scenery is a mess of graphical anomalies turning the game into an unplayable chaotic mess.
Anybody else tried it on this system or have similar experience on Intel/Leopard macs? Is there any known solution? Or am I SOL?

UT2004 for MacOS X patch 3369.2
The 3369.2 patch for Mac OS X is now available. There are some fixes, but the biggest changes are the presence of Universal Binaries and the inclusion of the Epic Mega Pack.
NOTABLE CHANGES OVER 3369 PATCH:
- UT2004 is now a "Universal" (PowerPC and Intel) binary.
- Closed a dedicated server exploit.
- Added UT2004 Mega Pack.
- Fixed UseStencil.
3369.1 is a "hotfix" patch to correct some issues in the 3369 patch.
Changes over stock 3369:
- Linux: Fixed large memory usage.
- x86 Linux: Reenabled Pixomatic renderer ("PixoDrv").
- Mac OS X: game will now run on Mac OS X 10.2.8 ("Jaguar") again.
- Mac OS X: 3D audio now correctly spatializes, other OpenAL fixes.
The Linux version can be applied as usual; it's the 3369 patch with updated binaries. The Mac version requires a 3369 install, so the whole ECE Bonus Pack doesn't need downloading again. There is no Win32 or Win64 3369.1, as these issues were specific to Linux/Mac.
UT2004 for MacOS X patch 3369
Patch 3369 contains several important fixes, but Mac users might be most excited about the availability of render-to-texture support (detailed shadows, motion blur, headlights, the DM-Morpheus scoreboard, etc). This requires Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later (but the game still runs on earlier releases as expected).
The package contains both the client and dedicated server. This will only patch the retail version (either the original UT2004 or the Editors' Choice Edition), and not the demo.
To install: Click a download link in Safari. It'll download and churn along for a while. Double-click the "UT2004 MacOS X 3369 patch" icon that'll eventually show up. If everything goes smoothly, it'll tell you that you're ready to play.
This one is big (90 megs instead of 15), because it installs the ECE Bonus Pack. It is safe to use this even if you previously installed the ECE-BP, but there are some 3369 things that need to override the scripts shipped with the bonus pack, so this was easier than trying get everyone to install everything in the right order.

Re: UT2004 on Leopard/Intel glitches
Yeah, I first added the 3369 patch, followed by the 3369.2 patch. Totally messed up.
The wierd thing is, I reinstalled without updating to universal binary, only the 3369 patch, and the powerpc version of the game works fine. Only the UB is borked. The game is totally playable at normal detail (60+ fps), but *darn* I really wanted to crank it up!
EDIT: I applied the Universal patch again just for kicks, and it worked fine the second time! Hmm...the first time, I had moved the UT app to my games folder. That must have confused the installer. Now I'm rockin!

Cool. All that render-to-texture goodness is yours at last.

Re: UT2004 on Leopard/Intel glitches
AAARRRGGH! It's doing it again. HOM hell, even in the startup movie. It was working fine, didn't make any changes or additions, now its borked again. I can't think of why this would happen. I've also been playing Prey, KOTOR, NWN, and Nanosaur 2 and they all work fine. Does playing Nanosaur 2 in anaglyph 3D mode mess with the ATI graphics drivers or something?
EDIT: Nevermind, a computer restart cured it. Guess I uncovered some obscure gfx bug.

Re: UT2004 on Leopard/Intel glitches
For what it's worth, I've noticed several graphical anomalies in Leopard on two different Macs.
On my G5 (Radeon X800 XT), certain things like full player shadows now glitch out the surface they are being rendered on. For like a single frame the whole floor might turn black or see-through.
On my MBP (Nvidia 8600gt), UseStencil doesn't work right at all, lots of graphical glitches all over the screen. Almost looks like it does when a video card overheats. As soon as I turn that option off, all is well.
So your problem could very well be Leopard's fault more than anything. Maybe 10.5.2 will bring some solutions.

Yeah, I notice those kinds of anomalies in Prey all the time. Doesn't really kill gameplay, but its damn distracting.
BTW, do I have to edit my .ini file to turn on stencil shadows and stuff?

Re: UT2004 on Leopard/Intel glitches
Yes there are a few edits you need to do to enable full shadows in both your UT2004.ini and User.ini.
There is a whole OpenGL section in the UT2004.ini with a bunch of options. Just make sure you save the defaults that work before tweaking anything.
Edit:
Here are the settings you need to do to turn on full shadows and render-to-texture. Hope I'm not forgetting anything. I believe there are notes in the html file that the patch installed inside the .app folder.
First, in your User.ini
bPlayerShadows=True
bBlobShadow=False
(both of these are under "UnrealGame.UnrealPawn")
Second, in your UT2004.ini
UseRenderTargets=True (Under "OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice")
