Re: Aperture 2 Released Today

Can Aperture completely replace iPhoto, or would I still need it to create photo books, calenders, or cards?

It kicks the bejeebus out of iPhoto.

Needs plenty of horsepower, tho.

Does that mean one can use it to create photo books, calenders, and cards?

It does pretty much everything iPhoto does, and then some. Until this version, the new .Mac web galleries were sorely lacking, but that has been added, too.

Re: Aperture 2 Released Today

I use aperture for work and stuff. Aperture 2 is soooo fast and optimized, it is great.
