Web Server Questions

I want to host my own webserver using Apple Servers.  Is it possible to run multiple T-3 connections to the server?  How?  I plan to run 8 servers (4 regular/4 backup)
Each with 4 TBs of H.D. space.  How much memory should I get in each?  Should I run 2 QUAD core CPUs or will 1 QUAD ccore CPU work for a webserver?  I plan to use a Raptor 10,000 rpm drive for the boot drive.  How do I connect all the servers' H. D. together?  Just map the drive?  Thanks!

yes it can be done ... you would need high end networking equipment particularly a high end router like from cisco. Why multiple t-3 ? around here (NW ohio) you can get OC lines for not that much more than t-1/3 lines so having one OC3 line would more than likely be cheaper than 3 or 4 T3 lines... unless you are getting some deal with the telco where you don't have to lease the lines or Right Of Way (ie you just have to pay for the data) but that usually isn't the case unless you are getting a factional T1/3 line ...
