mac equivalent to WAMP5?

I want to learn some sql/php stuff for work. My web abilities are limited to whatever GoLive/Dreamweaver can do.

I thought I would take this online course:
http://tinyurl.com/2yf64n

And it says I need the Wampserver.

Ideas? Feel free to tell me if this is a hair-brained idea ("No you can't learn this from an online course..." etc). I'm probably in over my head, but nothing new there.

Thanks in advance!

Re: mac equivalent to WAMP5?

Here's the course requirements if you don't feel like clicking the link:
Requirements:

A PHP and MySQL development environment. During the first lesson in the course, you will be walked through the process of installing WAMP5 software, which provides a full PHP and MySQL development environment. You can download WAMP5 for free from http://www.wampserver.com/en/. You will also need Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista (WAMP5 does not support either Windows 98 or Windows Me); Internet access; e-mail; and the Internet Explorer or Netscape or Firefox Web browser. Note: Macintosh users will not be able to use the WAMP5 software, and must provide their own PHP and MySQL development environment. Prior HTML coding experience is helpful, but not required.

I would use MAMP I dont have the link as I'm on my phone, but just google it. The free version is part of the pro version so just get that and it should work fine.

Or you can just add MySQL to the already install PHP/Apache built in to OS X.
