10.5 WWAN support
I have an XU870 express card (GPRS/HSPDA card), which did work well on Tiger (but I did install custom drivers for that)
Now, I reinstalled my macbook pro with a clean Leopard (which has support for xu870).
After a while I was able to connect the modem successfully to my is (I get a signal strenght indication, and the status sais 'Connected')
Unfortunately, I cannot browse the internet. Moreover, I cannot ping anything at all (google.com, etc)
The network Settings sais my ip address is 10.252.89.255 (which seems to be odd, since it was before alwais in the range 88.xx.xx.xx)
First I was thinking mu dns were not set. (but they were set autmatically to 10.11.12.13 and 10.11.12.14)
somewhere in the ifconfig result, I see
10.252.89.255 --> 10.64.64.64
Any guys know what is wrong ?

IP addresses that start with 10. are usually self-assigned, iirc.
So, yeah, you have no connection. Yay drivers.

Problem solved !
I found out that my APN number was wrong (I used event.proximus.be, but it had to be internet.proximus.be)
(stupid me...)--> now, the card works even better then before !

Nope, just another reserved range for internal networks.
Self-assigned addresses are the 169.* ones.
