LaserWriter Pro 630 and Envelope Feeder

Hey folks. This is sort of a mix of vintage mac peripherals and not-at-all-mac, I wasn't sure where to go with it so I thought I'd ask here first.

I've got an old LWPro 630 sitting here that works beautifully in just about any flavor of the Mac OS I connect it to.  Has an envelope feeder as well as the second paper tray in the base.

However, when I connect it to the PC running a friend's Quickbooks software (for mass printing envelopes to go with the bills it just spit out) things aren't as happy. Windows XP has a profile for this printer, connected via Parallel cabling, and it prints on regular paper just fine. When I tell it to print using the envelope feeder, it ignores me and pulls a piece of paper through instead. I've made sure the envelope feeder is enabled in the printer's configuration in XP, but it just doesn't want to go.

I told him this was a decent printer for its age, but it's going to be hard to sell it to him if I can't get this envelope feeder worked out. Anyone had any luck with this, ever?

Thanks!

Pull out the main paper tray and set paper feed to "auto?"
