MacBook Pro and

Hi Mac'ers! Just a warning if you are in the market for a new mouse Logitech's model V470 won't work with the MacBook Pro.

Question, where do you go in the Mac System or elsewhere to change settings beyond the available. "System Preferences"?

Is there somewhere compatible to like a Windows System Control Panel?

Is there a specific area besides the cache where files build up and clutter the system?

Last one as a New Mac'er. What if any device or program is there comparable to a disk de-frag in windows?

Thanks for reading, hope I can find some answers here.

Generally all are there, but each Application has it's on preferences and there are a few others

that IS the control panel

caches don't need to be removed; they don't do anything except take up a little space, but there are Application support folder in your library

I don't know what it is called, but it is built into the system and defrags on-the-fly

NSX, haven't seen you here often.

Re: MacBook Pro and

That's funny, my co-worker has a V470 and it works fine with his MacBook Pro.
